Ammie Can Help!

Ammie grew up on the Southwest side of Chicago and moved to the Northside as a young adult, slowly moving west in search of a quiet neighborhood where she could raise her 3 Children and ultimately landed in the Norwood Park neighborhood where she and her husband, Randy are active members of their community. Ammie serves as a Girl Scout Leader, Children’s Liturgical Minister and has served on the School Board and other various committees at St. Monica’s Parish and school.

Ammie went to Mother McAuley High school, an all girls Catholic school located on the far southwest side and went on to graduate with her B.A. From Dominican University, a Catholic University located in River Forest, Il. During her college days, Ammie was an active member of the University Ministry program and spent time as a volunteer on missions with “Habitat for Humanity” and other various organizations reaching out and helping those in need. Ammie has sought to carry over her ministries to her co-workers by currently volunteering her time serving on the Chicago Fraternal Order of Police Board’s Mental Health Committee because Ammie understands that her profession has serious psychological effects on the lives of police officers. Her hope is that this committee can find ways to help support the many men and women who also help make Chicago the Greatest city in the world.

Ammie has been a licensed Realtor since 2002 helping many people in her community make some of the most important decisions of their lives when buying or selling their properties. This knowledge and understanding will help assist her in making very important decisions for the people she will take an oath to serve when she goes to Springfield.
